In the current scenario, the students like the college, which has better facilities. Sports facility is one of those facilities, which attracts students and visitors. A good sports facility in the college will conduct a message to the visitors that the college is diligent and dedicated to providing a friendly and healthy environment for the students.

At CALAW, we acknowledge the importance and efficacy of sports and of fitness associated with it. In an effort to boost a balanced and healthy lifestyle and to encourage holistic development we have provided a state-of-the-art gymnasium, International Standard Soccer Turf, Basketball Court, Volleyball Court and indoor play areas.

Playing sports builds many skills in a student like teamwork, leadership, self-confidence, etc. Other than these qualities, students succeed in developing the ability of thinking in critical situations. Time management is one focused ability a student develops which will help him in managing time between college, friends, and family.

We are proud to offer comfortable and secure accommodation for our students at Christ Academy Institute of Law (CAIL) through our on-campus hostel facility. Our hostels provide a safe, supportive, and conducive environment for both boys and girls, allowing them to focus on their academic and personal growth without distractions.

CAIL offers two separate hostels for boys and one hostel for girls, each equipped with modern amenities and facilities. Our hostels are designed to create a comfortable and homely atmosphere for students, featuring spacious rooms, dedicated study areas, recreational spaces, and 24/7 security to ensure the safety and well-being of all residents.

Our boys’ hostels accommodate a large number of students and are equipped with separate rooms and common areas for both recreation and study. The girls’ hostel is designed to provide a safe and secure environment with all the modern facilities necessary for a comfortable stay. We take great pride in ensuring that all students feel secure, supported, and at home during their stay.

The hostel facilities at CAIL are managed by a team of experienced and approachable staff who are available around the clock to assist students with any concerns they may have. We offer nutritious and hygienic food to ensure that our students stay healthy and fit while living on campus.

Our hostel facility is not just a place to stay but also a space to build lasting memories and friendships. With students from diverse backgrounds and cultures, living together in the hostel fosters mutual respect, understanding, and tolerance among them.

Green Campus
CALAW has its own aesthetic beauty.
It welcomes everyone who enters the portal with its shaded park surrounded by trees. Besides this, there are colourful landscape gardens creating many green spots in and around the campus. Sustainable environment in campus impacts students’ lives positively on a daily basis. Studies have shown that students studying in active green campuses have better knowledge retention capacity, environmental behaviours, community solidarity, etc. Efforts are being made to develop the campus on green concepts, particularly focusing on water conservation, use of alternative sources of energy, solid waste management, green belt development.

The Moot Court Committee (MCC) is a student body entrusted with the responsibility of organizing and overseeing all mooting-related activities at CAIL. The committee aims to establish and uphold high standards of mooting, ensuring that students are well-equipped to thrive in legal practice.

Aligned with the broader vision of CAIL, the Moot Court Committee aspires to cultivate legal professionals who possess both a strong foundational understanding of law and the necessary practical skills. These skills will enable them to contribute meaningfully to the legal system in India, particularly in delivering justice to the common man.

MISSION

  • Exposure & Passion for Mooting: To provide students at CAIL with valuable exposure and instill a deep, enduring passion for mooting.

  • Moot Court Competitions: To organize both intra- and inter-collegiate Moot Court competitions, providing students ample opportunities to develop their skills and gain exposure in the field of mooting.

  • Skill Development: To nurture essential skills such as identifying legal issues, conducting exhaustive research, drafting compelling legal documents, and presenting arguments effectively before relevant authorities.

  • Team Selection: To identify and form the best teams to represent CAIL at prestigious national and international Moot Court competitions.

ACTIVITIES & STRUCTURE

The Moot Court Committee functions under the guidance of a Faculty Advisor and is supported by a dedicated team of passionate students. Together, they foster an active mooting culture at CAIL. The activities of the MCC are structured as follows:

  1. Training Workshops:
    MCC provides both theoretical and practical training in mooting through a series of monthly workshops conducted by experienced mooters. These workshops ensure that students are well-prepared for the challenges of mooting, both academically and practically.

  2. Intra-Class Moot Court Competitions:
    An intra-class moot court competition is held every semester, and participation is mandatory for all students. This competition forms part of the internal evaluation process, ensuring that every student gains hands-on experience in legal research, drafting, and oral advocacy.

  3. Team Selection for National & International Competitions:
    MCC ensures that CAIL is represented by the strongest teams at national and international moot court competitions. Teams are selected based on their performance in the intra-class moot court competitions, which are conducted annually. This ensures that only the most prepared and capable students represent the college at these esteemed events.

  4. Annual Intercollegiate Moot Court Competition:
    To further expose students to the world of competitive mooting, MCC organizes an Annual Intercollegiate Moot Court competition. This competition provides an excellent platform for students to compete with peers from other law schools, enhancing their skills and broadening their horizons.

The library at Christ Academy Institute of Law (CAIL) is a cornerstone of academic excellence, offering an enriching and resourceful environment for students to immerse themselves in the study of law and related disciplines. The library is well-stocked with an extensive collection of legal textbooks, law journals, case studies, periodicals, and e-resources, covering a wide array of topics in law, political science, criminology, and social justice.

With a seating capacity designed to accommodate over 150 students, the library provides a quiet and conducive atmosphere for both individual and group study sessions. Open to all CAIL students and faculty members, it is a hub for research, reading, and academic collaboration.

In addition to the main library, CAIL boasts a state-of-the-art digital library that is fully equipped with computers, high-speed internet, and a wide range of digital resources. The digital library offers students easy access to an extensive collection of e-books, online legal databases, journals, and multimedia resources, supporting both their coursework and independent research.

Cafeteria

The cafeteria at Christ Academy Institute of Law caters to students, hostellers, faculty members, and support staff. It is spacious and well-ventilated, with ample seating capacity and a comfortable arrangement, providing a welcoming environment for all. The ambience is pleasant and inviting, encouraging regular visits and fostering a sense of community on campus.

A separate dining hall attached to the main cafeteria is reserved exclusively for faculty members and staff, ensuring a convenient and comfortable space for their use. In addition to the main dining facility, a Café Coffee Day outlet is also available on campus, offering a range of beverages and refreshments.

The cafeteria serves as a central hub of student interaction, not only offering physical nourishment but also facilitating informal discussions and bonding among students. Strict standards of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained by the cooking and housekeeping staff. Feedback, complaints, and suggestions from students are welcomed to ensure continual improvement in services.


 

Auditorium & Seminar Halls

A spacious and fully equipped auditorium with 1400 seating capacity is being set up with ‘state of the art’ facilities.

Every floor in the buildings has a seminar hall with seating capacity of 140- 170 pax.  The seminar halls are spacious, well ventilated and well-furnished. The objective behind this is to enhance the quality of education. To make this possible, the halls offer facilities such as LCD projectors, wi-fi, Audio Visual, and white-boards for delivering lectures. It also provides ample opportunity for our staff and students to exhibit their talents in cultural activities.
