The Constitutional Law Committee at Christ Academy Institute of Law is dedicated to fostering awareness, research, and critical engagement with constitutional principles and contemporary legal issues. It provides students with a platform to explore the Indian Constitution through debates, discussions, seminars, and publications, promoting a deeper understanding of constitutional values and democratic governance.

The committee organizes events such as Constitution Day celebrations, expert lectures, and student-led initiatives that encourage dialogue on human rights, federalism, secularism, and social justice. Through academic and outreach activities, the Constitutional Law Committee aims to nurture informed, responsible, and constitutionally aware future legal professionals.

On March 14, 2025, the Centre for Promotion of Kannada Legal Literature and Sustainable Villages hosted an enlightening program at Chavara Hall, Christ Academy Institute of Law, Bengaluru. The event featured a captivating lecture by Sri. Ka Ta Chikkanna on the Importance of Translating Kannada Legal Literature, highlighting its significance in making legal knowledge accessible to all. The ceremony began with a warm welcome by the MC Manasa G., followed by a graceful lamp-lighting and a heartfelt welcome address. Faculty Convener Dr. Subramanya Swamy and Principal Rev. Fr. Davis Pandan eloquently highlighted the Centre’s mission. The day included a guest felicitation and an engaging Q&A session. Concluding with the National Anthem, the program left a lasting impression on attendees.
