ADMISSION PROCESS

The admission process at Christ Academy Institute of Law (CAIL) is designed to select motivated and deserving candidates who show potential in pursuing a career in law. Below is a detailed description of the admission procedure for the various programs offered at CAIL.

►Apply online. Visit the college website (www.calaw.in) for accessing online application.

►Incomplete application form will be considered invalid.
There would be a written test and 2 rounds of interview. The interview date will be intimated through call/email/ SMS.

►The criteria for selection will be as below:
a. Written exam – 50%
b. 1st round Interview – 5%
c. 2nd round Interview -15% (offline interview for Karnataka Students)
d. 10+2 or equivalent examination – 20%
e. 10th marks – 10%

Students appearing for LSAT / CLAT are exempted from the written test. The LSAT / CLAT score will be given 50% weightage.Students attaining minimum 65% aggregate marks from the above criteria’s will only be eligible for admission (60% aggregate marks for SC/ST candidates).

►Selected candidates must pay the prescribed fees on or before the last date mentioned in the admission letter.

►Selected candidates must submit the original certificates mentioned below at the time of admission.
The admission shall be subject to final approval by the Karnataka State law University.
