SCHOLARSHIP FOR STUDENTS
Scholarship Details
CAIL is committed to recognising and encouraging academic excellence among its students through a range of internal scholarships and financial incentives. These are awarded based on performance in the KSLU End Semester Examinations and fulfilment of other eligibility criteria. Students must not have any backlogs in the relevant semester, and any backlogs from previous semesters, if any, should be cleared to be eligible for scholarship consideration.
Scholarship For General Category Students
•Students securing above 80% marks in the KSLU End Semester Examinations are eligible for a full tuition fee waiver for that semester (50% of the annual tuition fee).
• Students securing above 75% marks in the KSLU End Semester Examinations are eligible for a 50% tuition fee waiver for that semester (25% of the annual tuition fee).
Cash Awards For Toppers
• 1st, 2nd and 3rd Rank: Students must secure a minimum of 70% aggregate marks, maintain at least 70% aggregate attendance, and pass all subjects in the first attempt.
• Subject-wise Toppers: Students must maintain at least 70% aggregate attendance, pass the subject in the first attempt, and secure more than 70% marks in the respective subject.
- SCHOLARSHIPS FOR STUDENTS FROM KARNATAKA VILLAGES
• Students securing 75% or above in the Semester Examinations are eligible for a full tuition fee waiver for that semester (50% of the annual tuition fee).
• Students securing above 70% marks in the Semester Examinations are eligible for a 50% tuition fee waiver for that semester (25% of the annual tuition fee).
- CONCESSION FOR STUDENTS WITH DISABILITIES
• A concession of ₹20,000 in the first-year academic fees shall be granted to students with disabilities at the time of admission to the first year only.
- SCHOLARSHIPS FOR STUDENTS BELONGING TO SC/ST CATEGORY
- One-Time Admission Concession
• A concession of ₹10,000 in the first-year academic fees shall be granted to students belonging to the SC/ST category at the time of admission to the first year only.
- Tuition Fee Waiver
• SC/ST students securing above 70% marks, maintaining a minimum of 70% aggregate attendance, and passing all subjects in the first attempt are eligible for a full tuition fee waiver for that semester (50% of the annual tuition fee).
• SC/ST students securing above 65% marks, maintaining a minimum of 70% aggregate attendance, and passing all subjects in the first attempt are eligible for a 50% tuition fee waiver for that semester (25% of the annual tuition fee).

Scholarships for Students Belonging to Christian Minority
Christian Minority students securing above 70% marks, maintaining 70% aggregate attendance, and passing all subjects in the first attempt are eligible for a full tuition fee waiver for that semester (50% of the annual tuition fee).
• Christian Minority students securing above 65% marks, maintaining 70% aggregate attendance, and passing all subjects in the first attempt are eligible for a 50% tuition fee waiver for that semester (25% of the annual tuition fee).
Important Notes
• If a student qualifies for more than one scholarship or award based on the same academic performance, only one scholarship or award shall be granted.
• In the event of a tie for the highest marks, aggregate marks and attendance shall be considered to determine the topper.</br>
• Scholarship eligibility percentages shall be calculated excluding clinical papers.
