The Library Committee at Christ Academy Institute of Law plays a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the academic resources available to students and faculty. It ensures the availability of relevant legal texts, journals, e-resources, and reference materials to support effective research and study. The committee works closely with the library staff to recommend new acquisitions, streamline resource access, and maintain an updated collection that meets the evolving academic needs.

In addition to resource management, the committee also organizes orientation sessions, reading drives, and legal research workshops to promote a culture of reading and research among students. By facilitating a well-equipped and student-friendly learning environment, the Library Committee contributes significantly to the academic excellence of the institution.

BOOK TALK

15th MAY 2025

On May 15, 2025, at 11:45 AM, the Christ Academy Institute of Law (CAIL) Library Committee, in collaboration with IQAC, CAIL, organized a Book Talk in the second-floor seminar hall. The event highlighted the importance of collective reading experiences, encouraging lively discussions, critical reflection, and a deeper connection with literature.

Students enthusiastically shared their perspectives on various books, showcasing their confidence and creativity, which was highly appreciated by the faculty. Beyond promoting reading and intellectual curiosity, the session provided an excellent opportunity for participants to enhance their communication, presentation, and analytical skills.

The Library Committee aims to host more such events to stimulate meaningful literary discussions and support students’ academic and personal growth. The session concluded with an interactive Q&A at 12:40 PM, marking a significant step toward cultivating a vibrant reading culture on campus.
