ABOUT
LEGAL AID COMMITTEE.

The Legal Aid Committee of Christ Academy Institute of Law is committed to upholding the constitutional mandate of access to justice for all. The committee serves as a platform for law students to engage in socially meaningful legal work by providing free legal aid, conducting awareness drives, and organizing legal literacy programs. By collaborating with local communities, NGOs, and legal professionals, the committee aims to educate the public about their legal rights and remedies while fostering a sense of responsibility and empathy among students.

Through legal aid camps, awareness sessions, street plays, and pro bono initiatives, the committee addresses various socio-legal issues such as domestic violence, consumer rights, gender equality, and labor rights. Members of the committee are trained to assist in real-world legal scenarios, bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application. With a strong commitment to justice and equity, the Legal Aid Committee plays a pivotal role in shaping socially conscious legal professionals.
