PLASTIC WASTE MANAGEMENT

Retailers and street sellers are prohibited from selling products not produced and branded following regulations in carry bags, plastic sheets, or multilayered packaging,with fines for violations.

✅The Student Grievance Redressal Committee at Christ Academy Institute of Law is constituted in compliance with the University Grants Commission (Grievance Redressal of Students) Regulation, 2019. The Committee will function as a forum with regard to redressal of grievances of students or students, on the activities within the institute which do not come under the purview of other mandatory committees or offices functioning at the institutional level. It is constituted with an intention to provide a responsive, accountable attitude and harmonious educational atmosphere within the campus. The committee constituted under the Chairmanship of the Principal will be the formal functional unit of Student Grievance Redressal mechanism at the institute level.

For the academic year of 2024- 2025, the Committee shall comprise of:

Process of submitting the Complaint: Any aggrieved student can submit a complaint:

1. By sending an email to sgrc@calaw.in; or

2. Through the online portal provided on the website the college; https://forms.gle/NM6VgBF8AiCyVg3Y7 or

3. By dropping the complaint in the grievance box;

4. By writing a grievance in the grievance register placed in the office

In case, where a complaint is found to be false or frivolous, disciplinary action will be taken.

IMPORTANCE OF TRANSLATING KANNADA LEGAL LITERATRURE

14th MARCH 2025

On March 14, 2025, the Centre for Promotion of Kannada Legal Literature and Sustainable Villages hosted an enlightening program at Chavara Hall, Christ Academy Institute of Law, Bengaluru. The event featured a captivating lecture by Sri. Ka Ta Chikkanna on the Importance of Translating Kannada Legal Literature, highlighting its significance in making legal knowledge accessible to all. The ceremony began with a warm welcome by the MC Manasa G., followed by a graceful lamp-lighting and a heartfelt welcome address. Faculty Convener Dr. Subramanya Swamy and Principal Rev. Fr. Davis Pandan eloquently highlighted the Centre’s mission. The day included a guest felicitation and an engaging Q&A session. Concluding with the National Anthem, the program left a lasting impression on attendees.
