The Source of Knowledge is experience , Knowledge becomes wisdom only when it has been put to practical use and it is undeniable that the wisdom of law and advocacy only comes with exposure. Christ Academy Institute of Law provides students with the right mix of practical exposure and academic enlightenment. Moot Courts build within students a taste for advocacy and problem solving. A moot court competition simulates a court hearing in which participants analyze a problem, research the relevant law, prepare written submissions, and present oral arguments.The Moot Court Committee (“MCC”) is the student committee entrusted with the responsibility of administering and facilitating all mooting related activities at CAIL and upholding the high standards of excellence that CAIL has set for itself in the field of mooting. Our primary roles include planning, organizing and executing The Christ Academy National Moot Court Competition (CALL NMCC), the CAIL NMCC is flagship event of the committee where the prominent colleges from all over the country participate and present their arguments on moot problem based on the topics that are currently burning in the public eye. The MCC follows a policy of encouraging participation in mooting from all batches, organizes extensive workshops and demonstrations to enable them to learn the process of mooting and arranges for interactive sessions with experienced mooters and litigators from previous batches. On an Intra-College level, we have been organizing the Intra Moot Court Rounds every year in order to constitute the moot teams for that academic year. The MCC follows a policy of encouraging participation in mooting from all batches, organizes extensive workshops and demonstrations to enable them to learn the process of mooting and arranges for interactive sessions with experienced mooters and litigators from previous batches.
